Supernatural Ministry: Unleashing the Gifts Within You
Author: Dr. James B. Richards
Every believer is called to ministry, but few are equipped! The model most of us have for ministry is the events at an altar call; but what happens at an altar call won’t prepare you for what happens across the kitchen table or in the workplace.
Believers sharing their faith have always been the key to true Kingdom ministry. It was the believers, not the apostles, who delivered the message to the Roman world. Every great move of God has occurred at the grassroots level where believers touch family and friends. Individual believers can reach those who will never listen to a preacher!
Relatively few people are walking with God today because of the ministry of a preacher. Seventy to ninety percent of those walking with God do so because of the personal influence of a friend or relative. The greatest growth the Church has ever experienced occurred when Christianity was illegal, there were no church buildings, few full-time leaders, and ministry was done by the believers!
Besides the need that is met in the life of those we minister to, one of the greatest dimensions of personal growth occurs when we share our faith with others. Paul shared these power-packed words with Philemon, I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ. (Philemon 1:6, NIV) The ability to grasp what we have in Christ comes alive in us as we share our faith.
Supernatural ministry was developed out of my years of personal ministry. This book wasn’t developed from the perspective of a pulpit preacher, but as a personal soul winner who touched the lives of people in the workplace, the marketplace, the living room, and the boardroom!
In this practical book you will learn how to:
- Share your personal testimony
- Comfortably lead people to Jesus
- Minister the baptism in the Holy Spirit
- Lead people into personal healing
- Restore the backslider
- Effectively minister every aspect of personal
ministry
